Name: Jotako Kujo
Canon: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Reserved: Yes
Personality: Jotaro is, outwardly, a man of stone. He rarely ever expresses much emotion beyond small shifts from neutral and he speaks very little unless it's necessary. In this sense he is very much considered a stoic man whom one would need to know well to even tell what he's thinking half the time. This tends to be a pretty big point of frustration for his companions, and especially his mother (though she loves him to death, anyways). Of course he has his reasons for this.
Jotaro has, since his delinquent youth, maintained that people are always trying to read him anyways. He does NOT trust easily, to say the least. So he got into the habit of secluding his emotions behind an iron mask of toughness. However, beneath it all is a caring man who loves his family and holds a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for his friends and allies. Unfortunately, he REALLY fails at letting this inner self shine through most of the time. But when it does, it shines through with such intensity that it fuels him to pull of feats of strength, even without his Stand, that truly amazes. It is this inner light and "hope" that personifies his Stand, and eventually grants Star Platinum its power over time.
Jotaro is also extremely intelligent. A quiet and unexpected genius, Jotaro has a quick thinking and complex mind that is able to process information swiftly and efficiently. He's always thinking, observing, drawing strategies in his head almost instantly once he has enough information. Most of his time spent being silent is also time spent in thought, to be honest. Of course expressing these thoughts is a bit of an issue. He inherited his grandfather's bad habit of not informing anyone else of his plans before he enacts them. That being said, he's hardly an "act first, question later" sort, it's simply that he just might answer the questions for himself first.
This also means Jotaro is incredibly calm under pressure. While his temper can flair up and be released in direct and brutal violence sometimes, it's only when he's absolutely certain he can do so without spoiling a potential strategy. His lack of reaction to dire straits is nearly legendary, able to bluff his way through almost anything. All of his panic is done in silent thought, unexpressed in his words or his face, and only the most dire situations seem to really get him to break his cool.
Jotaro has some polarization to him with his usual fierceness and his uncommon gentleness. In the presence of those he loves, he can be soft and protective. However, this often is misdirected, or at least makes it very difficult for anyone else to understand just what the hell he's thinking when he does what he does. He is deceptively complex, and the true Jotaro only really seems to be known by the people he is closest too. Anyone else just sees a foul mouthed hoodlum trying to act cool by being constantly aloof.
Note on this AU: JOTAKO Kujo is largely the exact same as Jotaro. This version of the Jojo universe has all of the main Joestars switching genders, and this Jotaro's grandfather is now Jotako's grandmother, but Holly is still her mother. Kakyoin is also a woman in this universe, and the deep relationship with Jotako remains the same. Polnareff, however, initially tried to work his womanizing ways on Jotako (and failed tremendously) but became the same friend and ally later on as he was in canon. DIO, the ultimate villain of the Jojo-verse, is also a woman. There are various other, ultimately unimportant, gender changes as well. If other Joestars app into this AU, they can decide how far these changes go.
Sample Objectives: Domination - Maybe not of the specific master and slave variety, but there is definitely a demand for women like Jotako in that field. Kicking dude's asses for money? Alright.
Vampirism - Joestars have a long history of dealing with Vampires, and boy is she going to find some here. Perhaps, you know, of the more enjoyable, bodice ripping variety.
Sample: two flavors: smutty and not at all
Sample Game Mechanic: MAAAYBE the Master/Slave system. She doesn't particularly like the idea, but if it can help someone, she will. She'd be up for Temple Raids, too. A desire to learn about the world around them runs in the Joestar blood. Jotako has interests in biology and archaeology, so she'd get plenty of both on these.
